Community teaching hospital in Brooklyn, New York, is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to work in its outpatient services department. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, medication management, risk assessments, and developing treatment plans for an adult underserved population presenting with various mental health and dual diagnosis issues.
Outpatient services include:
- Behavioral Health Program – Adult
- Chemical Dependency Outpatient Program
- Continuing Day Treatment Program
- Mobile Crisis Team
- Partial Hospitalization Program
- Alternative Housing Program
- Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Treatment
- HIV Out-stationing Program (HOP)
The hospital offers a continuum of care which includes acute, medical, surgical, gynecological, pediatric, and psychiatric inpatient and outpatient care, as well as emergency services and patient-focused education and prevention services.
Monday-Friday work schedule with voluntary call available, which pays above the regular salary. Full hospital benefits package included.
