Westbrook's newest Gameday Men's Health Clinic is looking for a part-time Medical Director. Gameday specializes in testosterone replacement and erectile dysfunction, with several locations operating throughout the nation. Gameday is the fastest growing men's clinic franchise in the country (www.gamedaymenshealth.com). The Medical Director position is part-time and ideal for a MD/DO who already has their own full-time practice/employment.
Rate: $2,000-$4,000/mo fixed fee. With opportunity to double or triple this income should the franchise owner open multiple offices. This is a good fit for an MD interested in supplementing their income, as the Gameday clinic franchises expand throughout Maine.
The Medical Director shares in the administrative functions that directly impact medical services and collaborates with the manager in the overall planning and budgeting for the practice. This includes but is not limited to training and monitoring of Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP), as well as leadership and guidance to the medical team. In the absence of the Medical Provider, the Medical Director also performs clinical responsibilities as agreed upon.
Job Duties:
The Medical Director Shall:
- Be on-site at the Gameday physical location(s) at least twice monthly to ensure proper oversight and supervision of all mid-level Practitioner’s (PAs and NPs) medical activities.
- Complete the Gameday Medical Director Quality Assurance Assessment weekly.
- Complete a thorough review of at least the minimum required PA and NP medical charts as dictated by state and federal law.
- Be continuously available to their Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner supervisees via direct communication either in person, phone (call/text), and/or email.
- Delegate to the mid-level practitioner (PA and NP) only those tasks and procedures consistent with the supervising physician's specialty or usual and customary practice. Ensure state and federal compliant Delegation Agreements are in place and up to date at all times.
- Observe and review evidence of the PAs/NPs performance until assured of competency.
- Participate in the ongoing training and continuous education of all Gameday treatment services, and complete all state and federal medical training as required to provide such services.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective individual and team working relationships with Gameday Franchisor, practice employees, consumers.
- Promote a medical provider environment in which the medical providers: Practice only within their respective proper scope of practice, provide an environment in which the medical providers follow and abide by the ethics of the medical profession, all applicable federal, state and local laws and ordinances, and any and all other policies adopted by Gameday.
- Exhibits a caring and helpful attitude when interacting with patients, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrates an understanding of Gameday’s mission in performing all aspects of the position.
- Handles confidential information as defined in Federal HIPAA guidelines.
Competencies, Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Must reside in and hold a current medical license to practice medicine in the state where the center is located
- Minimum Three years of practice as a licensed physician – Preferred
- Completion of a 20 hour Lab Director certification course through COLA will be required upon signing. Cost is paid by the franchise owner.
- Completion of a 20 hour hormone therapy training course required upon signing. Cost is paid by the franchise owner.
- Skill in using computer programs and applications.
- Competence in the use of Microsoft Office computer applications.
- Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Current unrestricted D.E.A. registration.
