We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team of clinical professionals. This position is a hybrid role combining remote work and in-person presence at our reputable outpatient clinic in Union County, New Jersey. As a Psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adults and adolescents, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being.

What will you do?
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients' mental health conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and recommend appropriate interventions based on individual needs.
- Provide medication management, adjusting prescriptions as necessary and monitoring patients' responses to medication.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Stay informed about advancements in psychiatric treatments and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
- Serve as a supervisory physician for Advanced Practices Nurses (APNs), including activities such as reviewing and co-signing patient assessments, collaborating on treatment plans, providing clinical guidance, and overseeing medication management.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and an active medical license to practice in New Jersey.
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Experience working as a Psychiatrist in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
