We are partnered with a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company committed to developing innovative therapeutics to improve the lives of patients with neurological disorders. The organization has an extremely advanced and healthy portfolio with multiple assets across phases I-III and is seeking a Senior Director Clinical Development.
This novel product pipeline of neurology-focused therapies is continually expanding and following the positive readout of a phase II program, the business is beginning the process of doubling their R&D headcount. The Senior Director Clinical Development is a key contributor to the clinical development of the company’s portfolio and product candidates from Discovery to Phase 3 and potentially post-approval.
Working fully remote across the US with office presence only required once a quarter, you will join a highly experienced and driven team with one of the most advanced Neuroscience pipelines in the US.
Responsibilities:
- Will be a key contributor to the company’s clinical development portfolio across both early and late-stage development.
- Reporting to the Head of Clinical Development, you will immediately be responsible for leading on a Phase III study.
- Identify new clinical research opportunities as the company looks to continue expanding their portfolio.
- Support with upscaling and growing the research & development team.
- Line manages, develops, and recruits direct reports as and when appropriate.
- Plan and manage budget proposals.
- Will be the clinical expert providing clinical & scientific knowledge of global clinical trials.
- Support cross-functional and global collaborations as well as commercial input into the development programs.
Requirements:
- MD with a background in Neurology and Depression.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Clinical trial design experience in Neurology.
- Prior experience working on both early and late phase clinical development programs.
- Leadership experience / potential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively present ideas.
Remuneration:
