Position Overview:
Responsible for assessing and treating patients with hearing, balance, and other related disorders. Leads program teams such as inpatient, outpatient, and acute rehab and/or other specific therapy services required to meet hospital California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirement. As a subject matter expert, develops key departmental policies and procedures, and leads and influences change initiatives within the department and with other key stakeholders. While under direction, facilitates and/or leads department level participation in organization-wide performance improvement initiatives/projects applying Lean/Sutter Improvement System concepts and methods. Responsible for providing staff performance appraisal input, and covering for supervisor/manager/ director absence, if requested. In addition, serves as inter-department/inter-affiliate operational expert resource, and a clinical instructor for assigned students. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.

Other: Graduate of an accredited audiology program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
AUDIO-Licensed Audiologist
ASHAA-Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience.

- Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.

Pay Range: $66.27 to $82.83 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
