As a Staff Physician 2, you will treat physically ill patients by utilizing appropriate treatments and preventive interventions, ensuring patient safety at all times. This will include conducting physical and neurological examinations, facilitating patient transfers to community hospitals, and rendering daily medical treatment. You will collaborate with the treatment teams, attend staff and hospital committee meetings, and assist in patient education and wellness promotion. This role requires effective communication skills to maintain good working relationships with staff, relatives, agencies, and others invested in our patients' welfare.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 30-minute lunch. You will have varied days off, including every other weekend. Schedule may change based on operational needs.
- You will work on-duty physician coverage as scheduled and overtime as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
