Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join a practice located in Meridian, Idaho.
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine physician. The practice is dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of patients from birth to end of life.
Schedule: 4 - 4.5 days a week, 34 patient contact hours per week. (Flexible scheduling and reduced FTE available)
Call: 1:30, phone only with excellent triage service.
EMR: EPIC
The practice caters to community members seeking wellness, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in a convenient and accessible environment. With comprehensive healthcare services offered for the whole family and urgent care services available 7 days a week, the practice offers a multitude of services in one convenient location including: urgent care, family practice, occupational medicine, diabetes care & education, sleep disorders center, orthopedics, heart care, lab draw services, physical therapy, occupational therapy (including hand therapy), pelvic floor and low vision therapy, and a community health education center offering wellness classes on-site.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Have successfully completed an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
- Be Board Certified through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) (or will obtain such certification within 3 years of employment)
- Be eligible to obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases including valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA
