POST-DOCTORAL PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FELLOWSHIP – Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, has over 40 years of expertise in offering innovative Post-Doctoral Pharm.D. Fellowships that provide extensive training in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. This 2-year Fellowship position is a joint effort between the Rutgers Institute for Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships (RPIF) and AstraZeneca. Program emphasis is in Global Oncology Market Access and Pricing (OMAP).
This 2-year Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to become a high-performing Health Economics & Payer Evidence (HEPE) leader with skills and capabilities to generate evidence to support reimbursement submissions globally.
The Fellow will sit within the global OMAP function, working alongside team members and cross-functional colleagues across prioritized tumors. The Fellow will work on several HEPE projects from early development, through planning, choice of vendor (if applicable), analyses, data interpretation, and dissemination. The Fellow will learn how OMAP drives price & access strategy globally and ensures the appropriate evidence is generated to support reimbursement submissions. The Fellow will gain exposure to interactions between the Global OMAP, Commercial, Medical, and R&D functions.
University-based experiences complement the industry experiences and include a Professional Development Series; opportunities for collaborative research, publication, and teaching; and participating/leading Rutgers Fellowship committees. These Fellowships provide a broad professional development opportunity in both corporate and academic environments to promote the role of Pharm.D.’s in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry and help fuel your career as a future leader.
