Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CRNA to join our anesthesia team. As a CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across a variety of surgical specialties. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
- Assess patient health history, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
- Monitor patients during anesthesia administration, adjusting dosage and technique as necessary to maintain optimal anesthesia depth and vital signs.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay abreast of advancements in anesthesia practice.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program with certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
