Ambulatory Neurosciences: Neurology Specialist Elkton (Elkton, MD) and Neurology Specialist Whitehall (Middletown, DE)

ChristianaCare, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare, is actively recruiting a BE/BC Neurologist specializing in general neurology, movement disorders, neuromuscular or headache medicine to join Delaware's largest employed outpatient Neurology practice based in Newark, Delaware. This position will be based out of Union Hospital in Elkton, Maryland, and Whitehall, Delaware.

The Neuroscience Service Line at ChristianaCare includes a robust inpatient neuro-hospitalist service, a comprehensive stroke center, a neuro critical care unit, a neuro-interventional surgical service, as well as a large multi-subspecialty ambulatory practice. The ambulatory practice includes 18 Board Certified Neurologists including 2 Pediatric Neurologists, 8 advanced practice providers, 7 clinical nurses, a full-time social worker, an embedded specialty pharmacy concierge and pharmacist, and an embedded psychologist.

Can support subspecialty along with general Neurology clinical work.
Ability to perform Botox, blocks and other injections, if desired.
1:4 weekend call with no stroke call. Advanced practice provider weekday coverage.

Position Qualifications

BE/BC in Neurology.
Fellowship training in EEG- Clinical Neurophysiology, EMG- Clinical Neurophysiology Neuromuscular Medicine or Headache Medicine desired but not required.
Must have the ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware and Maryland and meet credentialing requirements.
