Responsibilities
GLOTECH is seeking a Project Manager to work in a collaborative team environment in support of projected new work with our client. This position will be located in Bethesda, MD with an anticipated start date of late summer 2024.
The successful candidate will perform the below responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate planning and implementation efforts for streamlining and improving the effectiveness of enterprise governance operations, decision making, and project management on a large scale.
- Assist the government lead in facilitating meetings with senior leadership stakeholders.
- Advise and support change management functions necessary for enterprise governance evolution.
- May be responsible for all aspects of performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative, financial) of a specific project as part of a larger program effort.
- Consult with the customer to ensure conformity to contractual obligations and service/work product quality expectations.
- Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers.
- May organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks and assume the initiative.
- Provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Business, Management, Public Health and/or related). Approximately Ten (10) years of applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Active/current PMP certification is preferred. However, equivalent experience to a PMP certification would be accepted.
- Six (6) or more years of hands-on intermediate to expert level experience in planning and executing projects that effectively streamlined and improved enterprise governance operations, decision making, and project management on a large scale is preferred.
- Familiarity with federal enterprise governance operations, decision making, and associated policies and processes.
- Experience in helping clients understand and establish thresholds, priorities, and performance measures.
- Intermediate to expert level of experience with Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; and SmartSheet.
- Strong oral and written skills, including the ability to translate different information types to diverse audience types and develop executive level presentations, and experience interacting with and presenting to senior leaders/stakeholders within an organization.
- Strong management analysis, problem solving, analytical, forward thinking, organizational, visualization, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong skills in the following key areas: strategic thinking, multi-tasking, negotiation, conflict management, time management, planning and executing to a defined schedule/budget.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government level security clearance prior to hire.
