About our Staff Physician position
Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, provides direct clinical care and leadership for clinical programs, as designated.
What you will be doing!
Fostering a culture of quality care and service improvement and excellent patient safety.
Participating in the delivery of services by providing surgical and medical abortion and family planning/women’s health services as scheduled.
Contributing to the team efforts of the agency, thereby ensuring quality care and services for patients.
Other duties as assigned may include, but are not limited to, clinical audits, service expansion, and support of research studies.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing first and second trimester abortion services colposcopy, LEEP, internal referral clinic (complex contraception and gynecologic services) and other designated services.
Directing affiliate programs for ultrasound training, performance, and sedations services.
Working collaboratively with medical leadership to support clinical staff in Washington state.
Supervising Washington based residents, medical student, and APC training programs, including but not limited to RHEDI or Ryan Programs.
Rotating back up call with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director(s) and Staff Physician(s).
Reviewing and revising written guidelines for the functioning of the health centers as assigned and assists in the annual updating of the affiliate Medical Standards and Guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five or more years of clinical experience with a focus on women’s or reproductive healthcare.
License: MD/DO
Preferred Qualifications:
Five years’ experience in second trimester abortion procedures and care.
Salary Range:
$125,956.00 to$233,919.00 annually
