UNC Rex Hospital is currently seeking a full-time Board Certified OB Hospitalist. The OB Hospitalists group handles inpatient OB emergencies and works collaboratively with local obstetricians. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluation and emergency management of patients in the OB-ED and L&D.
- Attending deliveries.
- Assisting in the care of patients of community OBs.
- Assisting in surgical procedures.
- Inpatient gynecological consults and gynecologic emergencies.
- No outpatient care requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- NC State License preferred.
- MD / DO Board Certified.
- Preferred Experience.
- Consults and counsels patients and families.
- Adheres to the principles of medical ethics.
