Comprehensive Ophthalmologist Needed, Birmingham, Alabama

Join a highly successful solo practice at the Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Be busy from day one with no waiting time to build a practice. This is a pathway to partnership in a practice that is currently seeing 40 - 45 patients per day. New appointments are booked two months out and the practice has 30 days of waiting patients.

This is a pathology dense practice with a high percentage of patients with eye disease and multiple medical problems. On campus of the 400+ bed hospital, a highly regarded brand that gives the practitioner instant credibility. There is an excellent referral base of IM, FM and Pediatric physicians.

Excellent payor mix of Blue Cross and Medicare. This is a bread and butter ophthalmology practice, seeing cataracts and glaucoma; refers retina out. This practice has been in existence at the current site since 1997.

Open to different ways of structuring the partnership for the board certified experienced physician or board eligible new grad. Seeking an individual who possesses a healthy work ethic, excellent clinical knowledge and skills, compassionate bedside manner, is a team player and able to communicate well with patients.
