Seeking Neurohospitalists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor) to join the team in eastern WV.

In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents.

The hospital is part of a broad, integrated network of doctors, hospitals, clinics, and specialized institutes across West Virginia, Southwestern Pennsylvania, Western Maryland, and Ohio. The 692,000-square-foot structure rises eight stories and is designed around the environment with the patient, family, staff, and community in mind – which includes enhanced patient privacy, a high level of technology integration, and improved access to care.

The area is an economically strong and vibrant community, home to government and private enterprises including the FBI, energy, aerospace, and health care. Located less than two hours from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, the Eastern Panhandle offers a rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living, along with easy accessibility to these metropolitan areas. Berkeley County is among the fastest growing counties in the state, with little congestion and traffic. In recent years, a steady influx of urban professionals from nearby Washington and Baltimore has contributed to the growth of local telecommuting and high-tech industries.
