The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and the Division of Hospital Based Medicine-Outreach are seeking board eligible/board certified pediatricians to join a growing team of pediatric hospitalists in our Outreach Division.

Clinical Activities Across the Division of Hospital Based Medicine-Outreach:
Pediatric hospitalists in the Division of Hospital Based Medicine-Outreach provide clinical services at community hospitals with which Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago have formed a partnership agreement. These sites can be found at https://www.luriechildrens.org/en/locations/

Positions Available:
Full-time and part-time pediatric hospitalist positions are available at Franciscan Crown Point Hospital in Crown Point, Indiana. At Franciscan Health Crown Point, hospitalist faculty will provide 24/7 coverage of the inpatient pediatric unit, provide normal newborn coverage, and consults in the ED.

Position Details:

Full time faculty in the Division of Hospital Based Medicine-Outreach provide 1800 hours of clinical service per year.
Clinical schedules are published well in advance to ensure faculty can adjust their clinical schedules when needed.
Lurie Children’s and Franciscan Crown Point utilize the Epic electronic health record system.
Academic appointments for faculty are through the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Appointment will be commensurate with the academic and clinical accomplishments of the candidate.
An established clinical ladder is in place for promotion.
Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship or certification is not required for this position.
