The Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a Child Neurologist at the Assistant Professor rank. The incumbent will participate in caring for children with neurological disorders in the inpatient and outpatient settings. To be considered for the tenure-eligible position, candidates must have a strong interest in a career in academic medicine and demonstrate scholarship and excellence in two domains consistent with the requirements for tenure in the School of Medicine.

Qualifications
Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, DO or other equivalent terminal degree, and be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology at the time of hire. Specialized fellowship training in a related field is strongly preferred. Evidence of academic productivity is highly valued.
