BJC Medical Group physicians are trained and certified in over 25 medical specialties and serve patients in more than 125 locations in the greater St. Louis, mid-Missouri and southern Illinois areas.
Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose
The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty through direct patient care and perform related duties such as completing medical records and conducting patient-specific education.
Responsibilities
- Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or arranging for inpatient hospital care.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the care team to ensure excellent patient care outcomes.
- Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record.
- Provides or arranges for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage.
- Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers and support staff.
- This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness.
