Our Analytics & Insights (A&I) function plays a crucial role in driving data-informed decision-making to support our continued growth and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to head the Analytics & Insights function for the Americas. As a key member of the LEGO Group’s global A&I team, you will drive impactful commercial strategies, foster data-driven innovation, and develop actionable insights to help grow our business in the region. This role requires a strong leader who thrives at the intersection of data, insights, and strategy, with a deep understanding of the consumer landscape in the Americas.
Play Your Part in Our Team’s Success:
As the Head of Analytics & Insights for the Americas, you will report directly to the Global VP of A&I and collaborate closely with the regional leadership team. You will be responsible for leading the team in analyzing commercial performance, finding opportunities, and enabling stronger commercial decisions through data-driven insights.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead, grow, and develop the Americas A&I team, ensuring delivery of actionable insights that find opportunities and risks, supporting faster and better commercial decisions for the LEGO business across the region.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Market Group, Americas, and their leadership team to integrate data-driven insights into daily decision-making.
Analyze large data sets (including big data analytics and data science) to uncover insights related to products, channels, customers, shoppers, and members, driving informed business strategies.
Lead regular business reviews, focusing on clear and accessible communication of business performance and key data insights.
Support and strengthen the data and insights capabilities across the Americas, sharing knowledge and creating meaningful opportunities for the team and the business to grow together.
Support and socialize key business reports that enable efficient and effective decision-making, ensuring performance storylines are clear and actionable.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, eCommerce) to ensure that insights are translated into strategic actions that drive commercial impact.
Act as a member of the A&I Leadership Team and the Americas Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategy and success of the global Analytics & Insights function.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 7 analytics and insights professionals, distributed across the region with members in US, Mexico and Canada, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Measure and report on Key success indicators, ensuring the team’s work is aligned with commercial goals and drives meaningful impact.
Ensure compliance with global data governance and privacy standards, safeguarding consumer trust and regulatory adherence.
Do you have what it takes
Bachelor’s degree Business Analytics, or related field.
10+ years of experience in analytics, insights, or data science, with proven experience in consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce organizations.
Strong commercial competence with the ability to translate data into business impact and drive commercial decisions.
Proven track record of leading and developing analytics teams, particularly in a remote and multi-cultural environment.
Familiar with advanced analytics tools and techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to tell data-driven stories and influence key collaborators across all levels of the organization.
Financial competence and outstanding analytical skills with the ability to build new metrics and reporting that drive performance.
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to embed analytics in the decision-making process across multiple departments.
Experience in consulting or with top-tier consumer brands would be an advantage.

The salary for this position has a range of $169,279 - $253,919 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
New Location Update
This position will initially be based at 501 Boylston St or 10 St. James Street in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
