Responsibilities Pediatrix Medical Group has an opportunity for a Neonatologist to join our fast-growing team at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
- This Level-III unit has 14 beds and an average daily census of 8-10 with approximately 2,000 annual deliveries.
- Care for babies born earlier than 28 weeks and weighing less than 1,000 grams.
- In addition to 24/7 NNP coverage, there is MFM and OB hospitalist on-site support as well.
- Halifax Medical Center is involved in VON and Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative Initiatives.
- Join our NICU and newborn nursery team quality and evidence-based neonatal initiatives.

- Halifax Health Medical Center of Daytona Beach is a 563-bed hospital.
- The 24-hour emergency department includes the area's only Level II Trauma Center.
- The Level-III NICU is the only one in the surrounding counties.
