Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Thriving Ohio Community
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a hospital employment opportunity in a thriving Ohio community. This position offers a highly competitive salary, signing bonus, education loan repayment, malpractice coverage, benefits, and tail coverage.
The recruitment is in response to a growing oncology program and overall patient volume, with a significant need for ERCP (mandatory requirement). You will join an excellent medical staff with a wide variety of board-certified specialists represented (140+ members including surgical oncology, interventional cardiology, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and an adult and pediatric hospitalist program).
The hospital consists of a 200-bed not-for-profit community hospital and is part of a health system that includes a full-service cancer center, a critical access hospital, a rehabilitation center, an extended care facility, 2 urgent care centers, 108 physician practices, and a retirement community.
The city has been named by National Geographic Magazine as one of the top adventure communities in the nation (#1 in Ohio). It offers four seasons of festivals and activities, located on the Ohio and Muskingum rivers, making it a recreational paradise with opportunities for golfing, water skiing, fishing, hunting, and boating.
