Interventional Cardiology Position
Join a team of 11 non-interventionalists, 10 interventionalists, 4 EPs, and 26 APPs.
Call Schedule: 1:10
Program Overview: A busy program in 2023 performed over 15,000 non-invasive studies, 3,500 cardiac caths, 1,500 EP procedures, and over 650 open heart surgeries.
Work Schedule: 5-day workweek
Candidate Requirements:
- Open to practicing interventional cardiologists and 2025 fellows.
- Board certification or eligibility and a Texas license upon start date.
- TEE board certification preferred.
- Nuclear board certification preferred.
Technology: EPIC EMR
Compensation: Attractive salary and comprehensive benefits package (administration will discuss compensation details with candidates).
Work with the region’s preferred heart care facility, a free-standing six-story dedicated heart hospital with 96 cardiac ICUs, a structural heart program, 6 cardiac cath labs, and an accredited chest pain center with primary PCI.
Location: East Texas city located 90 minutes east of Dallas; prosperous university community of more than 100,000 residents – a big city vibe in a small-town atmosphere.
