*** THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN ALBUQUERQUE, NM ***
At Pavilion, we embrace "BUILDING YOUR VISION." This translates to both building the physical assets our clients envision as well as building the careers of our employees. In joining Pavilion, you are joining a family of dedicated, hard-working professionals looking to advance their individual achievements in a forum where mentorship and achievement are rewarded with opportunity.
The Vice President of Construction (VPoC) is the cornerstone of the mentorship program for each region of Pavilion Construction. The VPoC is the senior most ranked employee at region offices, a critical role model, a proven problem solver, and an effective leader. He or she is a skilled, experienced and empowered leader that our project management teams look to for guidance. The VPoC is aware, available and engaged in the business interests of Pavilion Construction and understands that the Pavilion brand is dependent upon the quality and ongoing development of the personnel in their region.
The VPoC is responsible for assigning appropriate teams to each project, periodically assessing staff strengths and weaknesses and achieving continuous, measurable improvement of staff's interpersonal, professional and technical skills. Great teams are essential to great results. In addition to personnel management, the VPoC's operations experience can recognize construction process anomalies, intervene and assist his teams when necessary.
The VPoC is a seasoned and capable project manager demonstrating the capacity to manage multiple projects and staff concurrently: constantly monitoring company profitability and schedule; influencing changes that improve bottom line performance, brand reputation, and client experience. He or she is a substantial resource of technical, strategic and procedural insight; recruiting construction professionals to the company and developing teams in a scalable fashion. If your construction career has a deep history and you crave a role to lead and teach construction management as much as you desire the chance to perform construction management, have high personal standards, and exhibit confident client services, this is the next opportunity for you to create a legacy in our industry.
