The Opportunity
Abbott’s Diabetes Care (ADC) division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reliability Engineer II to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) medical devices and readers, contributing to the overall success and safety of our products.
What You’ll Work On
- Conduct root cause analysis on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices and readers to identify and mitigate potential reliability issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to improve product reliability.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation related to reliability testing and analysis of CGM devices.
- Provide support for low-to-mid level projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
