Role: Senior Embedded Software Developer
Work Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Embedded Software Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Industry and IoT. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and performing tests on the software developed on the Intelligent Edge program. Your expertise will be essential in upholding the product high quality in demanding industrial settings.
- Product development: design and develop the software product, create unit tests and system tests, build the CI/CD pipeline to automate the test and release of the product.
- Technical Documentation: Contribute to the creation of detailed specifications, design documents, and concepts based on industry standards and internal requirements.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve complex hardware and software issues, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
- Code Quality Enhancement: Develop high-quality, well-tested code through comprehensive unit testing and debugging.
- Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including daily standups and other agile ceremonies.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for rapid troubleshooting and solution development.
- Proven experience using Kubernetes, Ansible, GitHub, Docker, Shell, Python, Linux.
- Solid foundation in programming, debugging, and testing within embedded environments.
- Strong understanding of clustering, networking, automation, and virtualization, especially those pertinent to industry automation.
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
