The Opportunity:
As Vice President, Strategic Global Initiatives you will be an instrumental individual contributor and will leverage your deep understanding of selling large, complex SaaS solutions to lead strategic enterprise engagements. You will provide sales leadership and guidance across the entire Sales Team, driving and closing large, often commercially complex, sales opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sales success, fostering client relationships, and contributing to our mission of delivering unforgettable digital experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Collaborate: Partner with stakeholders to lead business development, sales, and execution for complex deals, owning the delivery of high-quality deal outputs such as tenders and pitches.
- Strategize and Execute: Develop and implement end-to-end winning sales strategies for complex sales opportunities, ensuring all stakeholders and resources are aligned to deliver the highest quality outputs and outcomes.
- Client Engagement: Support, coach, and lead strategies for client engagement planning, communications, and satisfaction, including key client interactions.
- Oversee and Close: Manage resources and deliverables, taking personal responsibility for developing and closing large, complex sales opportunities.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Minimum of 5 years as a Senior Account Executive or VP/Director of Sales, with a proven track record of securing C-level sponsorship to win and close large deals.
- Demonstrated ability to structure large, complex deals with enterprise customers, working across various client teams, including business, technology, finance, procurement, and legal.
- Experience in addressing sensitive license compliance scenarios, balancing the creation of customer wins with holding clients accountable for over usage and noncompliance.
- Ability to lead virtual account teams, including sales reps, pre-sales teams, value engineers, customer success, support, and professional services, through a process that uncovers the customer’s strategic imperatives.
- Position and differentiate Sitecore’s platform and portfolio, aligning it to value realization.
- Proficiency in navigating internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, operations, pre- and post-sales support.
