We are looking to add to our team of industry-leading Store Managers, whose main areas of responsibilities include overseeing our retail operation, managing staff, achieving sales and safety goals, and ensuring excellent customer service. Employing a hands-on approach, the Store Manager runs a business unit that is the lifeblood of our company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Store Manager oversees all facets of the store operation to ensure achievement of the annual Store Profit Plan and achievement of budgeted expense levels. In managing the department managers/team leaders, the Store Manager ensures that financial, shrink, and merchandising objectives are being achieved. Ensure that all teammates maintain a high level of customer courtesy, service, and morale. Ensure involvement with community affairs and events (i.e.: local programs and commerce events). Responsible for facilitating and enforcing all training and development of associates within the store.
- Responsible for the entire store operation to include sanitation, regulatory, training, and human resource/payroll objectives.
- Puts strong emphasis on safety, sales, and service, and holds departments accountable.
- Assists with actual store operation activities on a daily basis (i.e.: stock shelves, run office, unload trucks, and assist customers).
- Oversees the store co-manager and all store department managers (Team Leaders), and sets standards for high achieving results.
- Ensures all company policies and procedures are adhered to by all teammates and that the highest level of customer courtesy and service are achieved.
- Incorporates fun and recognition into the everyday activities of the team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified candidates will possess a high drive for operational excellence and experience in grocery retail specifically.

- You invest time in the development of your team and continually plan for sustainable succession and retention.

- You are an adept communicator and demonstrate consistent follow-through.
- You are able to travel up to one hour each way to/from your residence.
- You are at least 18 years of age.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in grocery retail or other related retail fields.
- Understanding of merchandising, operations, service, supply chain, inventory, sales.
