Studio C, parent company of Celebration Cinema, is looking for a talented, motivated, and strategic General Manager to lead our team at Studio C at Meridian Mall in Okemos, MI. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations while delivering the ultimate movie-going and employment experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is a full-time (45 hours/week) salaried position. Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a healthy and positive employment culture that emphasizes trust, empathy, courage, service and playfulness
- Engage and provide others with the highest level of service - We call this Celebrated Service
- Building promoters of the Studio C Employment Experience through a culture of coaching, appreciation, individual growth, teaching and learning
- Maintain and build the team which may include: recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, development, and even positive terminations of employment
- Oversee and ensure we follow company personnel systems and policies, as well as state and federal employment laws
- Oversee day to day operations and ensure a well-maintained, safe and secure building and property
- Food and beverage preparation, costs, and safety; and meeting alcohol sale details related to legal compliance
- Build trusting relationships with team and community through respect, transparency, and inclusion
- Achieve short and long-term metrics and goals – ensuring that the theatre operates within company fiscal metrics and operational standards
- General accounting related to daily income, payroll, inventory, and other aspects of finance
QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:
- 3 Years of Leadership/Management experience required
- Minimum 1 year recruiting (hiring and/or onboarding) experience required
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Experience working in a movie theater and/or restaurant setting preferred
- Certifications for Food Safety and alcohol management program preferred but not mandatory
- Able to work within deadlines and under pressure
- Successfully manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- We’re looking for passion, fun, creativity, kindness, innovation, responsible, driven, professional, attention to detail, with strong organization, communication and coaching skills
- Mobility required during the entire shift - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
