The Valley Consortium for Medical Education (VCME) is seeking a Family Medicine Program Director / Patient Care + Preceptor (Program Director/Director) to lead its esteemed residency program in Modesto, California. This full-time role can be divided into both administrative and clinical practice (see details in Salary & Benefits Section). VCME is nationally recognized for its excellence in community-based medical education. Program residents receive family medicine training from a talented group of nine core and 20-30 adjunct faculty who specialize in various areas including geriatrics, sports medicine, obstetrics, women's health, gender-affirming care, pediatrics, population health, addiction medicine, hospice and palliative care, psychiatry, and behavioral health. VCME's residents practice outpatient care at an innovative partner clinic, while they receive inpatient training at an award-winning partner hospital.
