Position Highlights:
- Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical Group
- Sign-On Bonus: $2000.00 (for external candidates only)
- Location: Glenbrook Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: 7:00AM-5:30PM Monday to Friday
- Required Travel: Need to travel to Evanston and Highland Park for coverage purposes
What you will need:
- License: Current LPN licensure in the State of Illinois
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required
- Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: Previous experience in a physician practice setting or hospital setting is preferred
What you will do:
- Greets patients and places patient in exam room
- Takes initial data and vital signs with special attention to the neonatal and pediatric patients for physician
- Triage patient phone calls with follow-up to patients, pharmacies, triage medically urgent patients within the office, under the direction of the RN of the physician
- Obtain completed diagnostic data for physicians and follow-up with patients as directed
- Document in the medical record per office protocol
