As the Director, Global Mobility, you will establish, implement and lead FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies' (FDB) immigration strategy and develop processes and global mobility programs. You will collaborate with external partners, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to employees during international assignments and relocations. In this role, you will provide expert advice to the business, international personnel, and assignees on domestic and international relocation policy, tax compliance, and immigration.

Main Responsibilities and Activities:
- Develop FDB’s Global Mobility Strategy in alignment with FDB's business and growth strategy.
- Create global mobility policies, procedures, and guidelines that are compliant with global regulations.
- Manage and administrate the end-to-end process of global mobility assignments, including relocation, immigration, tax, and compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding global mobility policies, processes, and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations in collaboration with external legal counsel or immigration specialists.
- Coordinate and manage work permit and visa applications for international assignments, including supporting documentation and compliance checks.
- Partner with all internal business partner stakeholders including Global People and Culture, Global Talent Acquisition, Global Rewards, Global Finance, Global Legal & Compliance, and Global payroll teams.
- Research and establish relationships with top tier services providers.
- Partner with external vendors and services providers, such as tax, immigration, and relocation service providers.
- Conduct briefings and training for employees and managers on global mobility policies, processes, and cultural considerations.
- Provide guidance and support for repatriation processes and career development for employees returning from international assignments.
- All other duties as assigned.
Background Requirements and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of immigration and global mobility experience.
- Strong knowledge of tax, immigration, and social security regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for global relocation packages for all job levels of a global organization.
- Experience with global relocation vendor selection and management.
- Experience with creating policies and procedures for global short- and long-term assignments including expat and repatriation.
- Experience with administrating US visa requirements for both short- and long-term business travel.
- Up to 20% travel is required.
