SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a Vice President (VP) of People & Culture to join our HR Admin team. This full-time role will work days.
Purpose of this position: The VP, People & Culture Officer provides senior leadership for People and Culture functions and has a pivotal role in strategically defining the lifecycle related to the Employee Experience from beginning to end. Leads strategic initiatives and programs across the organization by partnering with the executive leadership team to drive People and Culture work that supports the overall business plan and strategic direction. Ensures all programs and services are communicated and effectively deployed from both a strategic and operational perspective. The VP will report to the Chief Administrative Officer for day to day operations with consult from the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team for strategic decision making.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the development and implementation of strategic plans for People and Culture Operations, recruiting, onboarding, learning and development, career paths, retention, employee and labor relations, Total Rewards, and Volunteer Services. Implement strategic plans, policies and programs in to foster collaborative relationships with labor organizations. Provide the executive leadership team and the HHS Board with guidance on these areas topics.
- Partners with the HHS Board and Executive Committee in carrying out CEO performance evaluation, executive compensation processes, and incentive plan approvals.
- Defines People and Culture metrics and service delivery standards to ensure services meet organizational needs. Identify process and service delivery improvement opportunities.
- Serves as an advisor to HHS executives, dealing with matters such as organization structure, change management and performance improvement.
- Oversees the development and implementation of employee benefits policies and programs, contracting for insurance and third-party administrative services, management of vendor relationships, plan analysis and plan design, and plan communications.
- Directs the development of effective policies and programs; to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; and develop approaches to health enhancement to minimize employee injuries and illness.
- Partners with IT and Finance, to ensure accurate, timely, and effective payroll and systems, including implementation of new and upgraded systems.
- Manages People & Culture budget and resources effectively and efficiently.
- Partners with the health equity team in applying diversity efforts, ensuring diversity strategies and objectives support organizational goals and priorities.
- Leads the implementation of leadership development, talent management, including succession planning processes for HHS.
- Leads the deployment of direct and indirect compensation, including incentive compensation programs.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations and accreditation standards to ensure accountability and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of at least eight years progressive Human Resources Management experience in healthcare, including at least five years of leadership experience.
