DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
This position is responsible for PT/PTA clinical competencies, clinical education and student program. Also, evaluates, directs, plans, and provides treatments for patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies. Acts as a clinical resource to inter and intra departmental personnel. Balances a variety of responsibilities to strive for optimal clinical quality, staff development, and patient care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Education and Training:
Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree.
Ability to comprehend and write the English language.
License, Certification & Registration:
MAPT - Current MA license to practice physical therapy.
CPR required.
Other Requirements:
Excellent communication skills.
Must possess sight/hearing senses to use prostheses that will enable these senses to function adequately so the requirements of the position can be fully met.

Schedule: Part time 1 (30-35.9), Shift 1, 8:00am-4:30pm and 10:30am-7:00pm
