Senior Global Compensation Program Lead
What can you expect?
This role will be part of the Compensation Centre of Expertise (CoE) which, in turn, forms part of the People Strategy team. The People Strategy Team identifies, develops and delivers solutions, and is comprised of six centers of expertise — HR Strategy, Workforce Planning, Talent & Inclusion, Executive Compensation, Broad-Based Compensation and Benefits & Mobility.
The People Strategy team delivers informed perspectives and creative solutions; anticipates and helps the organization respond to market, business and colleague needs; and brings a balance of deep technical expertise and consultative approach to identifying opportunities and developing scalable solutions that enable impact.
The Marsh McLennan Senior Global Compensation Program Lead contributes to enterprise-wide reward processes, projects and initiatives by leading workstreams and collaborating across the broader Compensation and People Strategy function.
You will be a part of the Compensation CoE’s leadership team and report to the Marsh McLennan Compensation Leader.

We will rely on you to:
Lead and deliver enterprise-wide projects across a broad spectrum of reward topics such as annual pay review, pay equity, pay transparency, regulatory requirements, systems, market research and more.
Consult with People Partners, People Strategy, Finance and other CoEs to understand and diagnose strategic compensation priorities, define reward requirements and ensure appropriate partnership, engagement and alignment on delivering solutions.
Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making related to reward programs.
Support the Marsh McLennan Compensation Leader in driving strategic initiatives as well as representing the CoE to cross-functional teams.
Partner with the People Strategy Chief of Staff in the overall program of work within Compensation as well as other CoEs.
Research industry trends and best practices in rewards, surfacing and summarizing relevant themes.
Support regional and global project work related to reward programs, contributing to the achievement of project objectives.
Apply a consultative skillset to reward-related themes, turning complex topics into an integrated narrative that aligns with Marsh McLennan’s purpose and commitments.
What you need to have:
A consultative mindset and client-centric approach to problem solving.
Be intellectually curious, seeking opportunities to develop new skills for themselves and others.
Significant, senior level experience within total rewards or compensation, within a large matrixed organization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
Advanced proficiency in both Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and bringing a story to life through crisp executive ready presentations.
Discipline to work both individually as well as collaboratively across a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse and global stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability to different cultural contexts.
What makes you stand out:
The applicable base salary range for this role is $147,800 - 221,800. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
