We are looking for a motivated individual who will actively participate in developing and supporting the Demand Planning team within the Supply Chain Department.
The Role
The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to forecast and manage customer demand for our products. This key position within the Supply Chain Department and S&OP Division builds strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Marketing and Supply Planning teams to ensure that Bakerly forecast accuracy is optimized.
Responsibilities: Primary functions for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Develops and maintains demand forecasting models based on historical data, market trends and customer insights.
- Collaborates with Sales and Marketing teams to gather information on market trends, customer preferences and promotional activities that may impact demand.
- Analyses and interprets demand data to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks or opportunities.
- Monitors and adjusts demand forecasts based on changes in market conditions, customer behavior or other factors.
- Works closely with Supply Planning teams to ensure that production plans align with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- As part of the S&OP Division, collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Conducts regular Demand Planning meetings to review forecasts, address issues and align on demand and supply plans.
- Monitors and reports on KPIs for the Demand Planning team, such as forecast accuracy.
- Identifies and implements process improvements and best practices to enhance demand planning processes and systems, including APS.
- Keeps up to date with industry trends, market dynamics and technologies related to demand planning.
- Additional projects to support the S&OP Division, defined with S&OP Corporate Manager.
Position’s requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Demand Planning, including Team Management.
- Food & Beverage industry experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to problem solve and rapidly shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.), especially Excel (master level required).
- Experience with APS system mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multi-tasker and independent thinker.
- Fluent English, written and oral. French is a plus.
