Job Description

The Premium Products & Experiences team creates brand defining offerings for Upmarket and Premium customers, driving sustainable growth for our business and meeting our customers’ needs in innovative ways. In this role, you will lead a team to drive strategy and execute on high priority initiatives for Capital One Travel experiences, helping define project scope and measures of success, developing deep relationships with stakeholders to help bring your strategy to life alongside other product, business, tech and design partners. In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas:
- Human Centered
- You’ll lead sourcing and synthesis of customer discovery efforts to understand customer needs to drive the long term vision for your product.
- You’ll turn these customer insights into actionable strategies that will define the priorities for your team and rally your stakeholders to your vision.
- Business Focused
- You’ll own and prioritize the long-term (12-18 months) product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that all the right resources are aligned to ensure that your team will be successful.
- You’ll define KPIs for your product and will be responsible for measuring and tracking to those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates.
- Technology Driven
- You’ll have an end-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business.
- You’ll work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the ultimately customer experience your team will deliver always looking to ensure you’re using the best tool for the job.
- Transformational Leadership
- You’ll rally your teams and senior stakeholders to your product vision and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystem to align to your vision and influence prioritization across partner teams.
- You’ll be responsible for attracting and retaining top talent to your team and mentoring and developing associates on their product career.
As the Product Lead for Capital One Travel Portal Experiences you will:
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to build the future of Capital One Travel experiences. You will own the strategy for our core Capital One Travel booking experiences, and will need to leverage innovative thinking, a clear customer focus, analytical rigor, and an understanding of our tech stack to prioritize your team’s roadmap.
- Focus on driving experience optimizations and launching breakthrough products, with a focus on our key KPIs that include NPS and CSAT, booking funnel conversion, and share of travel spend on the portal.
- Lead a team of product managers, partnering closely with business partners, designers, marketers, legal and compliance partners, and 3rd party partners to develop and deliver on your product roadmap with your team.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in digital product management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- MBA or Master’s degree.
- 6+ years of experience in product management.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $199,100 - $227,200 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
