GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides leadership, direction and supervision of the daily operations of assigned medical practice(s). Plans, designs, implements and maintains programs, policies and management systems of the overall operations of BPN. Leads a multi-disciplinary care team and is responsible for the supervision and performance of such team.
Reports to the BPN Operations Director.

- Provides leadership and oversight for the development, integration, coordination and ongoing support for the delivery of health services in an integrated fashion through the management, direction and supervision of the clinic.
- Participates in the planning and implementation of new technologies, procedures and services to support day-to-day operations.
- Develops, recommends and manages capital and operational budgets in support of strategic initiatives. Investigates and analyzes new revenue enhancing opportunities.
- Functions as the primary liaison between the assigned BPN site(s) and other departments/managers within Bryan Health to ensure an integrated operation of the facilities within the overall system. Represents BPN on quality and other committees within Bryan Health.
- Ensures development, implementation and evaluation of evidence based, quality clinical nursing practices and staff competencies consistent with nursing research and organizational and national practice standards.
- Uses data sets to assist in assessing performance, establishing targets, monitoring indicators and trends, evaluating performance results and planning for continuous improvement.
- Assists in effectively resolving the clinical concerns of patients, families and providers.
- Assists with developing and implementing action plans to optimize patient, staff and provider satisfaction and engagement.
- Works with providers and staff to maximize patient flow, promote efficiency, increase productivity and use of clinic resources based on patient provider need.
- Develops others by mentoring, advising, coaching, as well as, serving as a role model.
- Effectively recognizes and promotes the perspectives of patients, their families/caregivers in the delivery of care and decision-making processes, respecting cultural differences and expectations.
- Ensures applicable privacy and security requirements and intervenes as necessary.
- Effectively assists with human resource processes, including scheduling; performance appraisals; staff recruitment; selection and retention; training and education; motivation, coaching, and mentoring; and appropriate productivity measures.
- Serves as a resource for consistent application of policy and procedure within the organization.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing healthcare delivery and the rules of accreditation bodies; assists with the monitoring and reporting of such requirements and initiates any quality improvements.
- Prepares, presents and conducts required physician and/or staff meetings efficiently and effectively for identified actions and productive outcomes.
- Responsible for maintenance of physical facilities, changes, moves and/or improvements as appropriate for safe, efficient and effective clinic operations.
- Represents Bryan Health and BPN at public and professional meetings and conferences that enhance job performance and/or networking within the community.
- Maintains effective supply chain practices within assigned clinic(s). Recommends opportunities for increased efficiencies. Collaborates with other BPN leaders to contribute to and lead other initiatives as assigned.
- Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
- Participates in and/or leads meetings, committees, strategic planning and lean projects as assigned.
- Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field required plus minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare related field with at least two (2) years management experience required or Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or other healthcare field. Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act preferred.
