Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking an IBM Content Manager (CM) Software Engineer to lead the design, migration, and modernization of IBM CM systems from on-premises AIX platforms to AWS GovCloud. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in IBM CM, cloud architecture, and automation, ensuring a secure and efficient migration.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design solutions for migrating IBM Content Manager from AIX-based environments to AWS GovCloud, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Develop custom scripts, workflows, and configurations to optimize IBM CM for cloud deployment and seamless integration with enterprise systems.
- Implement automated deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security and operations, to ensure all systems are secure, compliant with DoD standards, and optimized for AWS infrastructure.
- Conduct system performance testing and tuning to improve efficiency and scalability within the cloud.
- Develop comprehensive documentation of migration strategies, configurations, and best practices to ensure smooth knowledge transfer and operational support.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience engineering and developing solutions for IBM Content Manager.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud-based environments, particularly in AWS or AWS GovCloud.
- Proficient in cloud architecture, automation, and IBM CM development, including API integration and advanced configuration.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- IBM Certified Solution Designer - Content Manager.
- Experience leading cloud migration projects in government environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $132,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
