Job Title: Senior Systems Architect: HW/SW Solutions
Primary Location: Austin, TX - this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home each week. This is not a role that can be done 100% remote.
Role Summary:
Lead a team to develop low-level firmware solutions.
Support HW and SW IP usage and debug.
Develop best practices for delivering enablement SW along with HW IP.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a team of engineers to manage the interaction between HW and SW teams, develop standard practices, drive low-level firmware solutions, and support HW and SW IP usage and debug. This role will help establish common ways of working, ensure compatibility across IP versions, and leverage FW development across programs. As issues arise, this role will help debug and triage to establish root cause and work to provide HW and SW solutions.
Job Qualification:
BS in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in digital SoC design, verification, validation, architecture, and/or firmware development.
Good written and oral communication and teamwork skills.
Able to lead by influence and bring teams together to accomplish goals.
Competence with ARM Processor subsystems, tools, and debug; experience with Arm v9 application processors is a plus.
Competence in SoC debug.
Expert in low-level FW for MCUs and MPUs and associated languages and tools (C, C++, SW flows, and methodologies).
Competence in validation of MCUs and MPUs.
Able to work in a multi-site, multi-time zone environment.
