Position Overview:
Genmab is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner (PO) for our Commercialization and Enabling Functions Data product team. The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of data products for our commercialization efforts and enable critical functions across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, product ownership, and a strong ability to collaborate across multiple teams, including IT, commercial, Medical Affairs and enabling functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and resource availability.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across commercial, Medical, IT, and enabling functions to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
- Act as a point of contact for all product-related inquiries, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
- Lead initiatives to enhance data integration, accessibility, and usability across the organization.
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop advanced analytics capabilities that support commercial decision-making.
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of product features.
- Monitor and report on product performance, using key metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all data products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
- Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures in collaboration with the IT and compliance teams.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in data management practices and technologies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive the evolution of core data products.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management, data management, or a related role within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading product teams and delivering data products that drive business value.
- Solid understanding of Commercial, HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations key processes and systems/data flow in the life sciences industry.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience with data management tools such as Reltio, Collibra or Informatica required.
- Support implementation of best practices in data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud infrastructure using AWS services (e.g., S3).
- Ensure robust data governance and compliance, leveraging tools and frameworks within AWS.
- Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering data-driven solutions.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira) such as Atlassian suite.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and industry standards for data management.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows: $138,750.00-$231,250.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
