This position is based in our Issaquah, WA office location.
Your Role:
- Technical realization of the customer and engineering requirements.
- Drafting the technical realization of the requirements by applying catheter domain expertise.
- Dimensioning elements, components, and assemblies by calculation or by their specification according to the requirements and, if necessary, documenting the required technical proof.
- Acting as a specialized know-how owner for a catheter technology.
- Cooperating with specialists of other disciplines to facilitate system integration.
- You will take part at the knowledge exchange with our product management and clinical teams to improve and further develop our products.
Your Expertise:- You have an engineering background in medical devices, particularly Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- You have relevant technical skills including use of CREO or other CAD software, Minitab or other statistical software, and problem-solving methodologies.
- You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
- Hands-on work in laboratory and manufacturing environments required.
- Willingness to travel is expected.
Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 10+ years medical device experience; preferably with catheters.
- Willing to travel up to 10%.
The pay range for this position is $155,000 - $165,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is 15% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
