Oracle Senior Manager/Director Software Engineering (JoinOCI) Montpelier, Vermont
OCI builds and manages hyper-scale distributed cloud services. OCI Monitoring service gives customers visibility into every dimension of their cloud resources with data, dashboards, alarms and notifications. We are seeking a Senior Software Development Manager who will lead an exceptionally talented team of Software Engineers to elevate the Monitoring stack into the best and most reliable in the modern cloud environment by adding features and scale.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure high availability and operational posture of your service.
- Set the roadmap by negotiating requirements and deliverables with product management, internal and external customers.
- Develop project development plans.
- Drive the team to deliver on availability and roadmap commitments.
- Own a high scale, massively distributed cloud scale service handling billions of transactions.
- Provide leadership, direction and strategy for a team of senior engineers.
- Manage and deliver on a large portfolio of key OCI initiatives with a special emphasis on Monitoring services in Developer Platform.
- Develop a prioritized roadmap of products, features and engineering asks.
- Drive the delivery of roadmap commitments on time with high quality.
- Work closely with a variety of stakeholders (other OCI teams, Oracle Corp teams, product management) to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectively.
- Provide regular updates to executive management.
- Monitor the health of the Monitoring services in the OCI fleet and drive solutions to problems before they impact Cloud capacity and availability.

US: Hiring Range: from $84,700 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
