The Alternative to Meds Center is a licensed, residential, behavioral health and substance abuse treatment facility in Sedona, Arizona. We specialize in helping patients taper off of and find alternatives to medications. Our program is both holistic and integrative. We assess and treat each part of the individual and utilize the best available treatment that will be the most effective. Through the use of an environmental toxin removal program, orthomolecular supplementation, and naturopathic treatments, residents work to restore balance to their brain chemistry, thereby reducing symptoms and reducing the need for medications and other substances.
We are currently seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to act as our Clinical Director.
The Clinical Director oversees Mental Health Treatment Planning for residents, screens the psychological needs of residents before intake and supervises our clinical team. The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing ATMC’s standard to ensure optimal psychological care. ATMC believes in providing a high level of clinical care in a compassionate environment.
The Clinical Director plays a vital role in the delivery and coordination of clinical services while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team. The Clinical Director is directly responsible for the therapeutic needs and continuum of clinical care for the residents. The Clinical Director is also responsible for overseeing the creation and documentation of psycho-social histories and master treatment plans utilizing their knowledge and expertise. Clinical responsibilities include individual therapy, family therapy, facilitating group therapy sessions, documentation, supervising treatment team meetings, and providing clinical supervision to non-licensed behavioral health staff.
