SUMMARY: As the Senior Data and Software Engineer at UP Entertainment, you will be at the forefront of advancing our technological vision and strategy. This role requires technical expertise to develop innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and support our growth objectives. You will collaborate cross-functionally, architect scalable solutions, and ensure the integration of secure, privacy-first data insights. Your deep knowledge in software architecture, data and analytics engineering, cloud computing, and security will be critical in guiding our technology projects and influencing key decision-making processes. Reporting to the Head of Innovation and Consumer Technology, the position also encompasses various projects, including ETL tasks, data analysis, data modeling, monitoring, quality assurance, security, automation, AI, and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Execute a comprehensive technology strategy that leverages data analytics and innovative solutions utilizing automation, machine learning, and A.I. to drive business value and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Solution Architecture: Architect scalable, robust solutions that address business challenges, ensuring the integration of secure, privacy-first data insights.
- Subscription Management: Improve and maintain the subscription stack which includes payment gateways and subscription management.
- Project Guidance: Collaborate cross-functionally on technology projects ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements within the technology domain.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain and apply deep technical expertise in software architecture, data and analytics engineering, cloud computing, and security.
- UPskilling: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Design & Development: Design and implement the development of functional databases, applications, and servers.
- Non-Functional Requirements: Ensure non-functional requirements are thoroughly considered and integrated into all architectural designs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Manage and create comprehensive documentation for processes and updates.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Industry-recognized certifications in cloud computing, data analytics, or software development is a plus.
- Education or training in project management methodologies is a plus.
- Prior experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.

- Strong experience with content management tools such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Deep understanding of customer data management tools like Segment.io.
- Experience implementing privacy-first data strategies.
