Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Director, Data Security Architecture to join our ISRM located in Raritan or Ireland.
This position involves leading a team of security technology SMEs in shaping & defining global in-depth security product architectures, embedded in the security technology product squads, leading evaluations of new technologies and solution selection decision rights.
Role:
The Director, Data Security Architecture's primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the overall data security architecture within the ISRM organization. This includes designing, developing, and implementing robust data security models that align with industry standards and best practices.
The Director will apply advanced data analytics techniques, such as data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithms, to detect anomalous patterns, identify potential security threats, and predict vulnerabilities across enterprise data systems. You will work closely with the security operations teams to develop and implement data-driven security monitoring and detection capabilities.

The Director will work closely with data visualization specialists to develop meaningful visual representations of data security trends, patterns, and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 15+ years of Information Security experience, including 6+ years of experience leading a technical security area as the SME.
- In-depth knowledge of Security Frameworks and Standards, including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and SOC2.
- Familiarity with industry-specific security standards, regulations, and requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, GxP).
- Proficiency in Security Architecture and Design.
- A strong background in advanced data modeling techniques, such as dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficient in data analytics methodologies, tools, and programming languages, such as Python, R, SQL.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in security analytics.
- Experience incorporating threat intelligence data into data analytics processes.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Effectively works with virtual, global teams.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- MS and/or advanced degree preferred.
- Certifications in related areas (e.g., SANS GPEN/GWAPT/GXPN, OSCP, CEH) are a plus.
- Expertise in data integration and ETL processes.
- Experience and knowledge of data quality management methodologies.
- Understanding of data stewardship roles and responsibilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- GxP background an asset (desirable, but not required).
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950.
Bonus: The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus.
