Our client is a well-known, cutting-edge fast fashion brand and e-commerce company. They are seeking a Director, Talent Acquisition & People to run day-to-day employee relations operations, improve upon ER systems, processes, and policies; and oversee the overall talent acquisition process for the company. Our client may have some flexibility on title depending on candidates’ qualifications.
This is an in-office position at our client's office in Beverly Hills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment of senior-level and highly confidential roles within the organization
- Work with the Manager of Talent Acquisition to ensure the timely delivery of high-caliber talent
- Provide strategic and day-to-day employee relations management to a team of managers, directors, and executives; inspiring trust, competency, and effectiveness
- Work closely with the company's senior leadership team and functional leaders across day-to-day matters, employee engagement, talent acquisition, cultural initiatives, policy adherence, and more
- Work with a founder-led team and translate work environment vision, provide expert advice and coaching to employees and management, and have a solution-oriented approach to solving complex matters
- Enhance processes and make decisions in a common-sense, direct manner
- Work collaboratively with the General Counsel in evaluating complex employment matters and leading functions including worker’s compensation and safety
- Implement ongoing training, mentorship, and manager-level programs to further develop and retain talent
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, required
- Ability to manage the talent acquisition and employee relations needs of both the distribution center and the corporate offices
- 15+ years of relevant human resources experience
- 5+ years of management experience
- Comfortable working with staffing firms and diverse management teams
- Experience in a consumer product, fashion operation, and/or warehouse organization, highly desired
- Shows curiosity, imagines creative solutions, promotes team creativity
- Strong understanding of California labor laws and prior experience with worker’s compensation matters
- Ability to draft well-structured, complete, and concise correspondence and documents
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
- Commitment to discretion and confidentiality
Compensation: Targeting a base salary of $150-250k + bonus
