JOB TITLE: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Job Code: PK1007)
JOB DETAILS:
Act as a voice of the consumer on the team and help hone the user's experience through thoughtful testing and validation. Engineer new automated testing methodologies. Partner with developers to write automation. Improve the developer experience via automated pipelines that includes timely feedback and a seamless path to production. Add and democratize new forms of data and metrics that enable the team to make decisions on where to focus and improve our tests. Monitor, debug, and fix breakages within our automated infrastructure. Help ensure new code moves easily through our deployment pipeline. Work with engineering teams when issues are found in deployed services and part of the on-call rotation for our team. Partner with Software Engineers and Software Development Engineer in Tests throughout the software organization to encourage adoption of the services we build. May work from home.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or related position.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Oracle cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with setting up Oracle's CI/CD infrastructure.
- Experience with RESTful API testing and testing frameworks.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language: Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with performance testing, including analysis of results.
- Experience with creation and analysis of metrics and observability dashboards.
OTHER: Salary range: $134,000 per year to $179,000 per year.
