HCT seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Manager, Labor & Delivery, at a 200+ hospital in California. The Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, directing and managing the patient care delivered to a designated population.
- Maintaining accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling in collaboration with department director.
- Developing programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience combined with 3 years of experience in L&D leadership; must have a proven track record of success in improving patient experience, labor and delivery quality metrics, as well as a high degree of clinical proficiency, and effective leadership skills; maternity experience preferred.
- License: Current California RN license required.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP.
- Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred.
Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare, and rental car.
