We prioritize unique and comprehensive care delivery to serve the needs of our patients, including behavioral health, care management, lab and radiology, and a fully integrated electronic medical record. As part of UW Medicine and University of Washington School of Medicine and the top-ranked primary care training program in the United States, our employees have the distinct advantage to provide our patients with an exceptionally high level of innovative care.
The city of Kent, Washington is centrally located between Seattle and Tacoma, providing the ability to easily enjoy the benefits of both cities and convenient access to SeaTac International Airport while enjoying a slower pace and more affordable cost of living. The South Puget Sound region offers beautiful parks, trails, beaches, and vibrant, welcoming communities.
We offer competitive compensation, a robust benefits package, faculty appointment with teaching opportunities, generous paid time off, PSLF-qualifying employer, and more. Base salary for this position will be $17,887 per month ($214,641 per annum) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determination and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) provides eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
Other compensation associated with this position includes a minimum guaranteed incentive for the first two years of $13,000 per quarter ($52,000 per annum) through UW Physicians. The incentive is based on both production and quality metrics, with guaranteed incentive pay being based on achieving up to the 45th percentile of production during the period of record; should the provider exceed this level of production, they will receive the higher productivity earned incentive instead.
Physicians would be appointed as Clinical Instructors at the UW School of Medicine. Clinical Instructors hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. In addition to providing primary care, this role will include some clinical teaching responsibilities.
