Rambus is looking for new college graduates to join our embedded software team in Espoo for both SW development and QA roles.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
- Work with the design and architecture leads for implementation requirements.
- Develop, code, test, and debug system software.
- Documentation of all the work performed (in all stages).
- Ability to deep dive into the low-level code and develop necessary drivers, libraries, and integration plugins.
- Participate and initiate code reviews.
- Test and verification of SW products.
- Be able to work with and support the QA team to evaluate the code and generate quality metrics.
- Assess third party and open-source software.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of MS/MSc or other relevant technical master’s course in Software engineering, security, IT etc.
- Have knowledge and has ability to develop applications for resource constrained embedded environments.
- Experience with emulation environments (QEMU or similar SW emulation envs).
- Knowledge of device drivers, software libraries and APIs (Experience in working with open-source crypto libraries like openSSL, gptee etc is a plus).
- Experience with Linux, RTOS, device drivers and bare metal development.
- Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with Continuous integration systems and tools.
- Command in C/C++, and at least one scripting language such as Python.
- Fluency in Java, Android is a plus.
- Knowledge of developing applications for Secure environments.
- Initiative-taking and strong collaborator.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
